The Ask: Led by Michael Mondavi, Folio Fine Wine Partners manages a diverse wine portfolio that spans 8 countries and 4 continents at every premium price point. They needed a new brand identity that better reflected their fine wine portfolio, legacies and families behind the wines.
Insight & Approach: Folio's identity is centered around the common ground of their vineyards and the quality of their wine portfolio. By using vineyard rows as a graphic language and visual symbol, Folio can connect their employees, wineries and growers under a shared image. The pinnacle shape of the identity further reinforces the idea of quality and achievement, as it suggests a sense of excellence. The identity project was followed with a standards guide, stationery and a comprehensive trade material overhaul. Each piece showing different expressions of the aerial view vineyard rows to give a sense of range to the ever growing Folio story.
